I’m a freelance journalist, writer and video presenter with over a decade of experience with an array of titles and interest areas – from cinema and tech to cricket and food, and everything in-between…

A commercial lawyer in another life, I retrained at the London School of Journalism and got my start at as a contributing writer on film for magazines Vérité and Film Fatale, and local newspaper the Brixton Bugle.

Beloved UK consumer affairs magazine Which? gave me my first start as a Staff Writer, that had me writing anything from how to cook the perfect roast potato to reviewing paper shredders. It also gave me the opportunity to polish my video presenting skills, recording in the studio, on location and on the floor at tech shows in Berlin and Las Vegas.

Moving to the majestic Mendip Hills in Somerset (where I reside together with a backyard full of clucking chickens), I took a role of Deals Editor at Future Plc that gave me the opportunity to work on lifestyle titles including TechRadar and T3, as well as specialist sites such as FourFourTwo, Golf Monthly, Rugby World and Cyclingnews. A trusted member of the editorial team, it wasn’t long before I earned the role of Content Director, responsible for e-commerce content valued at over £20 million/pa.

Combining passion with profession, I spent a fantastic year at The Cricketer in a marketing management role, before taking the plunge and grasping the freelance nettle. Since doing so, I have accumulated bylines at Little White Lies, The Film Magazine, Business Insider, WhatToWatch, CinemaBlend, Tom’s Guide, What Hi-Fi?, Android Police, Tech.co and have enjoyed reacquainting myself with Which?’s in-depth product reviews.
